The Mid-America Regulatory Conference (MARC) annual meeting is being held June 7-10, 2026 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, WI.

Those attending the MARC must agree to the terms of this Assumption of Risk, Use of Registration Information, Release of Liability, and Waiver of Claims (Waiver and Release).

ATTENDEE REQUIREMENTS

I agree to abide by all applicable requirements, advisories, policies, procedures, and protocols of the hotel or conference center and MARC, as well as the CDC, state of Wisconsin, and any other governmental authority for the duration of my stay.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand my attendance is voluntary and hereby accept the risk of attending the MARC Conference.

USE OF REGISTRATION INFORMATION

MARC intends to use the registrants' information to produce reports for management of the MARC Conference. Names of registrants will be posted on the MARC website, the YAPP application, and potentially marketing materials. Photos taken of participants during the MARC Conference may be posted on the MARC social media accounts. Names of registrants may also be provided to authorized organizations, including qualified sponsors and the conference hotels for the sole purpose of calculating room pickup.

WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY

I hereby release and waive my right to bring a claim or lawsuit against the MARC planning team members and its officers, executive coordinator, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees, or other representatives for any liability related to my attendance at the MARC Conference. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claim based in negligence, including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

I have read, understand, and agree to the Attendee Requirements, Assumption of Risk, and Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk. I am making a commitment to do my part to ensure a safe conference for all attendees.
