Guests are welcome at the 2025 MARC Conference.  Registered guests may attend the Sunday Evening Welcome Reception and the Tuesday Evening at the Eiteljorg Museum.  The fee for each registered guest is $75.

    Indiana Statehouse Tour & Legislative Meet & Greet

    This comprehensive, guided tour allows guests to explore Indiana's Statehouse, a building of outstanding architectural beauty, that has served as a center of civic life in Indiana since 1888. Discussions will include all three branches of government, as well as the history and architecture of the building and its inhabitants over the years. Tour will be followed by conversation with Indiana legislators. Tour duration: 1 hour

    Through2Eyes Walk & Talk

    Starting as a blog, Through2Eyes is an evolving platform where local resident, Sampson Levingston, invites guests to Walk & Talk about the hidden and unique history that Indiana has to offer. This Walk & Talk will take place throughout downtown Indianapolis and include highlights of the City’s utility history. The tour will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Tour duration: 1 hour, 10 minutes

    Citizens Energy Group Pump Station and Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour

    Citizens Energy Group owns and operates the wastewater treatment plant for the Indianapolis area.  Citizens’ wastewater system is under a federal consent decree to address the sewer overflows associated with our Combined Sewer Overflow system, and is set to complete a $2.5 Billion, 28-mile Deep Rock Tunnel designed to capture up to 99% of overflows by the end of 2025.  The outing will include a tour of our pump station, which is located 280 feet below ground and is the confluence of the tunnel system and the treatment plant.  Participants must be able to climb limited stairs and traverse on uneven ground. Duration is 2.5 hours.

The Mid-America Regulatory Conference (MARC) annual meeting is being held June 22-25, 2025 in Downtown Indianapolis, IN.

Those attending the MARC must agree to the terms of this Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, and Waiver of Claims (Waiver and Release).

MARC has taken preventative measures to reduce the spread of communicable disease including, but not limited to COVID-19 (“Communicable Disease”) at its annual conference (“Event”).

However, I acknowledge that MARC cannot guarantee that I will not be exposed to or contract a Communicable Disease at the Event. Further, due to the nature of the facilities, services and programs offered at this Event, I understand that attending the Event could increase my risk of contracting a Communicable Disease.

ATTENDEE REQUIREMENTS

I agree to abide by all applicable COVID-19-related requirements, advisories, policies, procedures, and protocols of the hotel or conference center and MARC, as well as the CDC, state of Indiana, and any other governmental authority for the duration of my stay.

If masks are required when the event convenes, I will comply with all guidelines. Failure to comply and abide by our rules could lead to expulsion without a refund. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Event, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, acknowledge and agree as follows:
